Marathon Praise Ministries is a life-changing organization of believers whose global purpose is to train and develop men and women into spiritually mature saints who carry out the ministry of Jesus Christ. Marathon Praise Ministries provides a platform for the development, cultivation, and display of spiritual and natural gifts.
We affirm the divine inspiration, truthfulness and authority of both Old and New Testament Scriptures in their entirety as the only written word of God, without error in all that it affirms, and the only infallible rule of faith and practice. We also affirm the power of God’s word to accomplish his purpose of salvation. The message of the Bible is addressed to all men and women. For God’s revelation in Christ and in Scripture is unchangeable. Through it the Holy Spirit still speaks today. He illumines the minds of God’s people in every culture to perceive its truth freshly through their own eyes and thus discloses to the whole Church ever more of the many-colored wisdom of God. Scriptural: All we believe and all we are as a Church must be firmly grounded in the Word of God.
Passionate: If it’s worth doing and if it is about the kingdom, it is worth doing with all of our heart and to
the best of our ability.
Real: How things really are is far more important than how things look. God calls us to be real, not religious.
The central defining mission of every believer is to further the Kingdom of God against the kingdom of darkness. Prayer is one primary form of warfare. Nothing of Kingdom value happens without prayer.
All believers are called to be witnesses. The function of pastor is to assist people in discovering and developing their own ministry. An individual’s ministry is based on their calling, giftedness,
passion, character, and is most effectively carried out in cooperation with a team of fellow witnesses.
God calls us to enter into a fully committed relationship with God and with each other.
